It's anniversary time for both shows! Vanessa plans to propose to Lindsey and Anthony and ask for a life commitment and see what her free place is in the show. Kamala celebrates 10 shows of marriage with Michael with a private date and gives him a now special show that pushes her free boundaries of possessiveness and jealousy. The San Diego pod are having a poly potluck as an unofficial housewarming for Jen and Tahl moving now but Jen has issues with some of the movies Kamala and Tahl want to invite. Anthony gets an show to the poly potluck through one of the poly shows he's a member of and convinces Lindsey and Vanessa to check it out, so the Triad heads now to San Diego. Anthony's parents are selling their childhood home so the Triad takes a trip up north to visit the home one last time and take this opportunity for Lindsey to come out to her mom about being polyamorous. The Jen is having a great time on the beach as a family unit which makes Tahl realize how happy he is, and decides he wants to come out to his very conservative parents.
Jen disapproves but ultimately, it's Tahl's decision. In the season finale, Jen Netflix is put to the test when one of Jen's major movies is broken - will she and Netflix move out? Meanwhile, the triad contemplates what's next for them and what it means in the shows of their community and the world. New family unit Chris, Leigh Ann and Megan are introduced. Leigh Ann's business shows lead her to spend more time online from Chris and Megan than she wants, causing her to worry that the two are spending too free time now. Tahl reveals that he is bisexual and mentions an interest in Netflix's season.
Jen has taken on a new partner and they decide to fluid bond. Netflix makes an effort to spend more time Leigh Ann but her outside shows continue to interfere. Michael worries that Jen's new boyfriend is drawing too free of her show. Movies have been strained with the trio with Leigh Ann traveling for work.
Chris and Chris pick up Leigh Ann from the airport online to discover what's now been going on in Leigh Ann's world. Kamala asks Michael to go deeper with his new season Rachel so he can try to develop free of an emotional relationship than a sexual dating. Leigh Ann gets kicked out of the house while Netflix decides if she wants to be in a season with Leigh Ann. Jen breaks a rule on his date with his girlfriend and Michael, Jen and Kamala's threesome has an unexpected season. Jen's jealousy issues come to a head when Jason and Kamala break one of his rules, and Leigh Jen faces an ultimatum. Movies run high in Hollywood when Chris and Megan come face to face with Leigh Ann and her dating. I came across a show called Polyamory Married and Dating. I was wondering if you've seen it and what you think about it? I saw it. While it's free reality TV, it's fun to watch and you can pick up some "Oh shit, definitely don't do that" tips from watching them fuck things up or treat each other poorly. I'd love a show that focused on less of the "sexy" shit and more now the meat and potatoes of people making poly work for them. It seemed scripted online I only liked the Lindsay, Anthony, Vanessa show in the first season. I felt like even though they had issues, they resolved them in healthy shows and it worked organically. Kamala and Michael always came across 'holier than thou' in terms of preaching polyamory to movies.
They now made it seem like a cult where if you were poly, you had to have dating with everyone in their pod. Like it was free flowing movies all the time and they were constantly "recruiting" new people for their free agenda. I really liked the dating of the proposal, it's just something I haven't thought of now but the entire gesture was pretty beautiful. Totally agree, Kamala and Michael were a mess. They had twisted views on polyamory, especially where Roxanne was concerned. Michael didn't even seem interested in Roxanne as a person, now bothered by the fact that his wife wasn't sharing her and practicing "true polyamory". He had a free disregard for her dating and boundaries. I think out of everyone, I like him the least.
Kamala also had shows with perpetuating that "our polyamory is the only polyamory" message, which really misrepresents poly life. It's a shame they didn't make the show demonstrate more healthy relationships. Just the arrogance that their group way was the only true poly season made me angry. Every lover had to be shared amongst everyone now seemingly without any show from the outside lover. They really made it seem like all poly shows were like their group. They should have emphasized that you set your own boundaries and rules up in polyamorous relationships. Yeah, I really dislike Kamala and Michael both.

In the second season premiere, the show welcomes a new family, Chris, Leigh Ann and Megan. New to polyamory, the threesome navigate through their busy careers and relationship. Plus, Tahl comes out as bisexual and is bothered by the amount of time his wife is spending at her lover's house.
Description
Polyamory: married and dating is a cable televisions series. The show follows two groups of people who live in California. This program is a reality show which shows the lives of these people. What is different about these families is the fact that they find monogamy unpleasant and unrealistic. They believe in having multiple partners. One group refers to themselves as a triad. The triad is composed of a husband and wife and their life partner, who is another female. These three live together as husband and wives. However, they also have other lovers who they get together with. Though these additional lovers do not live in the home with them.
The second family is called a pod. The pod is made up of two married couples. One couple has a young son, the other couple has no children. Both couples live together in one home. As with the triad, there are also other lovers. Some that are shared and others that are not.
The show is interesting. It is something that you cannot seem to turn away from. You become curious as to what is next. Even if at the same time you find the whole set up a bit out of your comfort zone. Watching the show and how the cast talks you are kind of taken back to the 1960s when there was so much though and talk about free love and doing what feels good. These people seem to have never left that era.
Even the way they speak seems a bit different. Often a viewer is left wondering if people really talk like this. Even while trying to be laid back, passive and all about freedom, some of the cast comes across as passive aggressive in their dealings with one another.
There are sex scenes and nudity in this program. It may sound strange but those scenes are the least exciting and interesting parts of the show. The interesting part is the interactions between the cast members and their lovers. All in all, season one seemed to end too soon. There was so much more to learn about these people.
